When you first open PitRadar (or after clearing your session), you'll land on the Team Picker. This is also where you return if you tap Switch Team in the settings menu.

1. Enter your team number and click Find Events (or press Enter). PitRadar will look up your team name and list your registered events for the current season.
2. Select your event from the dropdown. The currently active event is auto-selected if one is found.
3. Optionally check Enter alternate Nexus ID if your event uses a different key in FRC Nexus than in TBA.
4. Click Start PitRadar. Your selection is saved for the session — you won't need to re-enter it on every visit.

To switch teams or events during a session, use the ⚙ Settings menu in the top-right corner of the nav bar and choose Switch Team.

The Schedule page shows every match at the event in a sortable table — Qualifications, then Playoffs, then Finals.

• Use the level tabs (Quals / Playoffs / All) to filter by match type.
• Toggle Our Matches Only to show only matches involving your team.
• Completed matches show actual scores; upcoming matches show Statbotics win/loss predictions in a muted style.
• Click any team number to open that team's detail page.

The Scenarios page helps you answer "what finishing rank do we need, and can we still get it?" before quals end.

• The left column shows the current standings.
• The centre column lists remaining matches — each match is pre-loaded with the Statbotics win/loss prediction, but you can click to toggle between win, loss, or tie based on your own hunches.
• The right column shows the projected final ranking based on your selected outcomes, updating instantly as you make changes.

All calculations are done in the browser — no data is saved. Refresh the page to reset all outcomes back to the Statbotics predictions.

The Pit Display is a full-screen dashboard designed to be mounted on a monitor in the pit and visible from across the workspace. It automatically advances through five screens as the competition progresses — no manual intervention required.

• Click Launch Pit Display in the nav bar (or check Open in Pit Display Mode on the Team Picker and click Start PitRadar).
• On launch, choose Landscape (widescreen monitor) or Portrait (vertical/rotated monitor). Your last choice is remembered and pre-selected.
• After choosing orientation, you'll be prompted to tap for fullscreen — one tap enters fullscreen mode; Esc skips it.

Pit Display Screens

The pit display has five screens that follow the flow of an FRC event. It will automatically move to the next screen as the competition advances.

1. Pre-Competition — shown before the match schedule is published. Displays your team's season stats (EPA, world rank, record) and a ranked list of every team at the event sorted by EPA — a scouting overview of the field before quals begin. The team list auto-scrolls if it doesn't fit on screen.
2. Qualifications — the primary screen during quals. Shows real-time queue status, next match, upcoming match cards, event rankings leaderboard, season stats, and an optional live video stream. Identical data to the main dashboard but formatted for pit-monitor readability.
3. Alliance Selection — appears automatically once all qualification matches are complete. Shows the 8 alliance pick cards and an available teams sidebar with combined alliance EPA. Pick data updates automatically as captains enter selections into FMS.
4. Playoffs — appears when alliances are finalized and the first playoff match is queued. Displays the full double-elimination bracket (or round-based bracket for district championships), real-time match status tiles, and an alliance sidebar. Scores update live as matches complete.
5. Event Summary — appears after the final match is complete. Congratulates the winning alliance (with a blue banner graphic if your team won), thanks your alliance partners, shows the final 1st–8th standings, and highlights notable matches from the event (highest score, highest combined score, highest losing score). If any of these were season-wide records, that is noted as well.

Pit Display Settings

Click the ⚙ gear icon in the bottom-right footer to access pit display settings:

• Orientation — switch between Landscape and Portrait at any time.
• Video — control the live stream embed: Off (never show), My Matches (show only when your team is on the field), or Always (always visible).
• Auto-align Pit Display to Comp State — when checked (default), the display automatically advances between screens as the competition progresses. Uncheck this to stay on the current screen and navigate manually.
• Show Statbotics EPA Stats — when checked (default), the Season Rankings column showing EPA and world/country/district rank tiles is visible. Uncheck to hide it and reclaim that space for other content.
• Focus Mode — replaces the stats and standings columns with a larger grid showing all of your team's matches for the event (completed and upcoming) in one view. Useful when you want a quick at-a-glance picture of your full match schedule without the leaderboard and EPA tiles taking up space.

Pit Display Navigation

• Click the ☰ hamburger icon in the footer to manually jump to any pit display screen (Pre-Competition, Qualifications, Alliance Picks, Playoffs, or Event Summary).
• The hamburger menu also provides Toggle Fullscreen, Exit Pit Display (returns to the regular dashboard), and Submit Bug options.
• Click the countdown timer in the footer to force an immediate data refresh.

The display auto-scales to fill any screen size. It refreshes on the same interval as the main dashboard during quals, and every 30 seconds during alliance selection and playoffs.

On phones and small screens, PitRadar automatically redirects to a mobile-optimised layout. You can also access it manually via ⚙ Settings → Mobile View.

• Shows field status, queue position, next match, rankings, and a link to the live stream (if available).
• Includes a mobile-friendly Schedule and Scenarios view accessible from the mobile nav.
• To return to the full desktop view from a phone, tap Desktop View at the bottom of the mobile page.

Enter team 99999 on the Team Picker to launch Demo Mode. This creates a synthetic 30-team event with a full schedule, results, alliance selection, and playoff bracket — no API keys or live event required.

• The demo event progresses based on clock minutes, cycling through quals, alliance selection, and playoffs.
• Use the Demo Jump controls (visible in the pit display hamburger menu) to skip forward or backward through the event timeline.
• Demo mode is a great way to explore all of PitRadar's features, including the pit display auto-advancement between screens.

PitFinder is a Worlds-only feature (visible when a FIRST Championship event is configured). It shows an interactive overhead map of all 8 Worlds division pit areas so you can locate any team's pit quickly.

• Enter a Starting Point (your own team number) and a Find Team number, then click Go. PitFinder highlights both pits and draws a suggested walking route through the aisles.
• Click any division name in the overview map to zoom in to a full grid of that division's pits, with pit codes visible on each cell.
• Use the + / − zoom buttons in the division view to adjust text size. Click ← Full Map to return to the overview.
• Your team's pit is highlighted in amber; the team you searched for is highlighted in green.
• The Upcoming Matches dropdown lets you quickly navigate to an opponent's pit by selecting one of your upcoming matches.

The Team Canada section is a Worlds-specific hub that tracks all Canadian teams competing at FIRST Championship. Access it via Team Canada in the nav bar. It has three views:

• By Province / By Division (Roll Call) — lists every registered Canadian team with their EPA rating, world rank, province, and division assignment. Toggle between Province and Division groupings using the view switcher tabs. Click any team card to open that team's detail page.
• Schedule — shows upcoming and completed matches for all Canadian teams across all 8 divisions in a filterable list. Filter by division, province, or team using the sidebar. Click a match row to see full match details.
• Pit Location — a Canadian-coloured version of PitFinder. Canadian teams' pits appear red; your team's pit appears green; all other pits are grey. Click a division to drill into its full pit grid. Enter a team number in the Find Team box to highlight that team's pit.

The Go LIVE button in Team Canada launches PitRadar LIVE with a preset that monitors streams across all divisions for Canadian team matches.

PitRadar LIVE is a multi-stream viewer optimised for watching several event streams simultaneously. Access it via Go LIVE in the nav bar or from the Team Canada pages.

• Choose a preset from the home screen — options include individual division streams, a Canadian-teams preset that auto-selects streams where Canadian teams are competing, and others.
• Streams can be displayed in single, split, or picture-in-picture layouts depending on the preset.
• PitRadar LIVE opens in its own full-screen-friendly layout, separate from the main dashboard.

Rewind surfaces the most notable matches from any event day or week — highest scores, closest matches, biggest upsets, and more. Access it via Rewind in the nav bar or from a past event on your team's detail page.

• Switch between Daily and Weekly views using the mode toggle.
• Select a date or week to browse highlights from any point in the season.
• Filter by event or team to narrow results to matches you care about.
• Match cards show final scores, teams, and category labels (e.g. "Highest Score of the Day").

Click any team number anywhere in PitRadar to open that team's detail page. It works for any team in the world, not just teams at your current event.

• Current event — upcoming matches with predicted times, and current rank/record at the event (shown once matches begin).
• Season history — a collapsible list of every event the team attended this season with their rank, record, and playoff result. Click any event row to expand completed match results.
• EPA & rankings — total, auto, teleop, and endgame EPA with world, country, and district rank tiles colour-coded by percentile.
• Awards — a complete list of all awards the team has ever won, searchable and filterable.
• Links to Worlds Qual Prospects and Rewind for that team appear where relevant.

PitRadar pulls live data from three external sources:

• The Blue Alliance — match schedule, scores, rankings, team info, alliance selections, and event webcasts. Cached for 5 minutes.
• Statbotics — EPA ratings, win probability predictions, world rankings, and season-wide notable match records. Cached for 5 minutes.
• FRC Nexus — live field status and queue position. Refreshed every 15 seconds.
• FIRST API — used during alliance selection for faster real-time pick updates.

The countdown timer in the top-right nav shows seconds until the next full refresh. Click it to refresh immediately.
